I posted in the Southwest section, but since so many Houston 6speeders post here I would like to announce that we will be hosting a Karting event, most likely in conjunction with Vinod and Urbanspeed. Ben M. is coordinating, since he was an instructer at MSR and has the hook up.
MSR has a karting track that is PHENOMENAL. Ben has arranged for us to rent out the track and it will only cost $50 per person. Karting will give you skills that will transfer to your car and does not cost $300 for a day and result in thousands in damage/wear and tear on your car.

I'm waiting to hear from Vinod on a firm date guys. Feel free to suggest any preferences on date. Whether or not we do this in conjunction with Urbanspeed is dependent on whether or not we can fit it into the monthly itinerary. The track is pretty flexible excluding the last week of February. Eitherway it will be a ton of fun.
