Is it running again yet?

It's funny. The PSM did "save" me once on the track. And yet, I kinda wish it didn't. It assumes I wouldn't know what to do in a tight situation. I also think when PSM comes on, it kinda lengthens the arc and I can't do the "normal" thing to correct the situation. That's what I think Tyson refers to as potentially "dangerous". It did catch me by surprise and I had to wait till it's over before regaining "control". I'm not sure what'd happen if there was another turn that I want to attack immediately.

Yes, I do think if you're keep getting barred from making a mistake, you'll never learn.

PSM messes up my car. It's fine for the stock power and set up but on modified cars with a lot more power, suspension work and braking power it generally intrudes freaks out and does things that were designed for the stock car. That's usually a bad thing. I'm pulling the fuse, I've had it with PSM gr.....

Is it as simple as pulling a fuse?
Is it possible to install a permanent PSM-on/off button to bypass the fuse?

We defeated the throttle body shut down, the rest of the PSM has proved to be a benefit.

ben, lj,

She will be back together sometime in November. At that time, if any street legal turbo, GT2 or GT3 feels up to we'll be more than happy to set something up.

How much did you spend on your suspension???

Can you say the same thing about a GT3 RSR? I think not.

Putting in GT3-R components with JRZ triples is hardly considered a "street-legal" setup.

Like I said before, you need to compare apples to apples.

Just remember consistency is most important, what if someone takes you up on that and wants to run in October? Too bad your car wont be back together until November.

My F150 is faster than Chad's TT. If you don't believe me, I'll meet you tomorrow and we'll race for titles :-)

Tyson,

Regarding a GT3 RS, Kevin Buckler of The Racers Group has experience in both cars. KA has run against three GT3RS's, depending on the turn, the GT3RS has some trouble comming out of certain turns and in the straights.. KA will hold her own. That's really an accomplishment.

As for street legal, anything that can be licensed and pass a smog test is fair game.

Hey, get a GT3RSR, I'm game. It would be interesting. I'll have to change over to slicks.

Sounds good ben, I pick the course. Seriously, I'm only open to street legal 996tt's, GT2's or GT3's.

Your car or pretty much any modified car here would not pass the visual smog test in California. As the mods done to these cars are not CARB certified. I think "streetable" is a much more applicable term here.

what's the point?

depending on the turn, a go-kart can hold her own against a GT3RS and KA too.

not all drivers can do equally well and consistent on all tracks. kevin buckler hasn't been doing so well lately.

only way to tell is to agree on several road courses and see who has the better avg.
