Why don't GT3/GT2 have PSM?

Only breaking your chops man.
Those who have been around for any amount of time can see, it really has an effect on me.
As for smog, how many techs even know what a Porsche 996tt looks like in the engine compartment.
Killer Angel passes all the emission numbers along with six out of six on the tech points.
What's the point? Well, the Kart, the F150, the GT3RS don't qualify as a street legal 996tt, GT2 or GT3. There have been thousands of these cars manufactured. I was simply curious if anyone who has a super street legal Porsche 996 based turbo was interested. I know that Kevin and Elliott both have cars that would be in the same catagory. Kevin has already said he would be interested. Knowing Kevin and Elliott, it would be a great match up. Knowing both of these individuals it would be alot of fun and in this category there really isn't any losers.
Both Kevin and Elliott have shared an immense amount of information.
Like I said, if anyone feels up to it, let me know.

I have never driven any RWD cars like the E36 M3, E46 M3, and now, the 996 Turbo with ASC, DSC, or PSM on. I get in my car, and I turn it off before I drive away. Being able to control the rear end is RWD driving 101, fix the driver, not the car, the car is great as it is.

Correct.
Correct.
People who drive them with no respect deserve to get their **** handed to them via FedEx by these fine cars.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the GT2/Gt3 cars have an LSD, which would drive any kind of PSM system nuts.
As to why you'd want PSM on a RWD car, there are a myriad of reasons why it would make sense on public roads in normal driving. Unexpected weather conditions (like snow on a bridge), gravel on the road as you make a turn, and idiots in SUVs veering into your lane are all things I've experienced, and PSM activation sorted it out. Chances are, at least one of those (probably the snow on the bridge thing - that puckered me up for a good hour or so) would have resulted in a nasty crunch. PSM is really useful when you're driving at less than 100% concentration, which applies to 90% of street driving (and, for some people, an unforgivable percentage of track driving)
PSM only has to save your *** once to make you a believer. I love the GT cars, but I will never again own a Porsche without PSM.

Basically, like you said, I was driving with less than 100% concentration, what being 10 in the morning on my way to a client and all, and I drove the bottom half of the windshield instead of what I should have done, drove the top half of the windsheild like you are supposed to (anyone who has been to any DE knows what I am talking about).
Lo and behold, some truck had dropped cans of white paint and it was all over my lane as I was quickly approaching the area at my normal highway speed. Now bear in mind that I came from very well balanced 50/50 chassis BMW's, and so I did my natural flick right, flick left manuver to avoid the crap, and well, the flick right to avoid the paint and stuff was without drama, but the flick left got the pendulum action going, and the rear quickly start coming out and was fast approaching the 45 degree point of no return, and the concrete divier was now in my peripheral vision.
Keeping my foot on the gas (RWD 101), I look where I want to go (NOT the concrete divier) and after two and a half corrections of tank slappers, I was able to get the car back straight.
Now, PSM is a good system, but I fail to see how it would have helped me in this case. PSM can brake individual wheels, but it certainly can't open the throttle for me so that I don't lock up the wheels and spin the car the other way around as the natural reaction of most driver when they experience oversteer. Not only that, the oversteer that I had experienced was momentum induced, and not hamfisted over-eager throttle application induced oversteer. So, how would the PSM know that I was going to be doing a flick left right after I was done doing a flick right to avoid the cans of paint and crap on the highway?
Put it this way, I would much rather that I KNOW what to do when things like this happen, rather than hand my fate over to the glorious all saving benovelent PSM that will end world hunger and create world peace.
It's RWD 101, just learn it. Go to some DE's if you have to. PSM R&D $$ could have been better spent on something else, like having lightweight materials on the Turbo so it doesn't weight 3400 pounds.
Mod the driver first, then the car.
