Changing air filter...

Could someone give me some tippers on how to change the air filter? I got a BMC one from a friend I'd like to try out.

Thanks in advance!

Chris

There was a great thread on "the other" Porsche board giving detailed instructions on the removal. It took me 17 miniutes to install a K&N folling the directions. I tried to search for the thread but could not find it. Anyone remenber more about this?

Mike

Remove the bolt ( with the blue rubber washer ) at the front of the airbox, loosen the hose clamp between the box and intake and rotate the box counterclockwise 180 degrees , it will pull out ( just be careful not to damage the MAF sensor connector as it's still attached ). Make sure you don't lose the two press -in rubber grommets on the body frame that the pegs on the bottom of the box slip into ! Remove the screws and the filter lifts out.
