Smile Weight Reduction - Rear Screen
Anybody make a Polycarbonate rear windscreen like my Ferrari Stradale, any idea of costs and weight savings, does the GT3R etc have this, part no ?'?? ?

I would guess this is a sh*t load more effective than putting in a Carbon Roof ? Lexan is one of the polycarbonate brand names.

POTENTIAL GROUP BUY anyone ?

The 997 GT3 RS rear lexan window is lighter by approximately 6.6 pounds. I can't remember if the 996 GT3 RS had a lexan rear window although I think I sort of remember that it did.

I truly can't beleive the diff is only circa 6 or 7lbs, I would guess more like 25lbs otherwise why does Porsche, Ferrari bother ??
