GTR kill in Houston
Kidding! One person in each car. We both looked like we weighed the same, 170ish.
But 634 hp can only do 10.53@128, the car really dies down at high speed; 128 doesn't look good for a 634hp car.
I was on my way home late last night traveling down Westheimer (50 degrees) . A black GTR pulls up behind me kinda fast. I stop at the next red light with the GTR directly behind me. The light turns green and i accelerate into the next lane. I am in second gear cruising at 30mph. The GTR pulls up and we both coast at 30 for a few seconds. He gives me the nod and we both nailed the throttle. By the time i shift into third, the GTR is 1 1/2 cars behind me. I let off around 110. I easily put 2 cars on the GTR.
The GTR pulls up and says, "you must have some mods on that car". We pull over and I tell him about the my car.
Here are my mods:
-Softronic ECU Flash
-Milltek exhaust
-Agency Power Short shift kit
-Agency Power diverter valves
-Agency Power headers
-Agency Power dual snorkel air intake w/K&N filter

Regardless of the speed/race issues, and the fact that Porsche can still hold it's own, I'm still envious of the GTR electronics. As you all know the Germans are about 10 years behind the Japanese in this department. The GTR Nav screen is a fantastic tool which can be changed to display numerous gauges, g-forces, 0-60 times etc. In my opinion, there is absolutely no reason why high performance German cars, Porsche, BMW, MB, AUDI, can't have the same capabilities. Although the fancy electronics will never be enough for me to go Asian, I would just like to have the best of both worlds.
I agree. But, it was late at night and we were past HWY6 headed West. We all know that that stretch of road is more open than say Westheimer and Voss. There were very few cars (if any) on the road. Believe me, I'm not a fan of blazing past cars while racing.

nothing like a good road kill!
