Waste gates... question for specialists!

Waste gates... question for specialists!
Hi!
When he weather is cold (under 5°C), my car sometime refuses to keep the total boost pressure when I fully open the throttle. It makes a "PFFFFRRR" and I think the WG are opening. (K24 with 1.2bar)
By warm weather it is Ok.
I think that my WG springs aren't strong enough. (?)
Second evidence: at low speed with just a little of throttle, I can hear the WG "clinquing" a little, is it possible they are not "bolted" enough? (the springs, of course)
The AFR monitor shows it begins lean when "PFFFRR", but if I just give a little less throttle all is OK and the car re-accelerates like a bomb! (560hp/850Nm)
And no problem on dyno, even when 0°C, no charge enough I think...
Do you think I have to turn a bit the WG bolts? or to change the springs?
thx.

If you change the wastegate springs be sure to have the wategates pressure calibrated to open at the same time. This mod is suggested for K24s by many tuners. Not as good to just adjust the bolts...problem is the spring and that it was designed to work at a different tension. Also are you still stock DVs? And I am far from an expert...be sure to speak to your tuner.

In fact I checked my waste gates springs and compare with my stocks ones on my "old" K16:
the both case the nuts are equally bolted right and left, but on the K16 they are 14 rounds of nuts, and on the K24 only 9 rounds of nuts; far less precharged...
(you can feel it pulling the WG with your fingers)
I know the best is adjusting right and left with a vacum/pressure pump and mano, but what do you think about turning the both nuts from 9 to 12?

you need to pessure test the the WGs.... make sure they open smoothly and at the same time as the other... if you have 1 bar springs then the Wg rod should start to open at 1 bar...

I'm going to take some tool to check the pressures right and left.
The WG are the stock ones of the K24.
Do you think it is risky to turn exactly the same the 2 nuts from 9 to 12?
Did you known this problem with your car?
thx

You can keep asking until someone agrees with you that turning the nuts is OK....
There is a good DIY on wastegates on turboflatsix.com I posted about a easy to make tool that will let you sync and calibrate them.
