Enzo, SLR and poor CGT??

I don't recall the Enzo being able to best the CGT around any track, road etc.

The CGT would probably have a hard time beating the Enzo around Fiorano.
IMHO, here's what I think most supercar buyers care about:
1. Fastest/Top Speed - Lap times mean nothing and a revolutionary clutch is next to worthless. Winner: Enzo
2. Attention grabbing design - note that I didn't say beautiful. Money is the name of the game and to some being seen in a very expensive yet ugly car is a great way to "one up" the neighbors. "Hey Bob...I've got so much money, I can spend a million on a car I think is ugly". The CGT is just too understated to cause a stir the way a Yellow Enzo can. Winner: Enzo
3. Production - 399 units simply means you can't get one. 1500 units means you can get the exact specs you want. What do rich people want...something that other rich people can't get. Winner: Enzo
The Enzo wins all three categories. Obviously, there are generalizations galore in my hypothesis, but I don't think race day performance, lap times, ceramic brakes, and ultra-light flywheels mean much to the "average" supercar buyer. Sure, you have your hard-core enthusiasts, but a lot of the buyers are just rich people, who may never see a track day.

A local guy around here I know who owns Ross labs has enough money to buy any kind of car he wants, in fact he can buy them in bulk. This guys goes out and tracks cars on a regular basis, he also owns one of the 1987 Le Mans cars that won porsche the constructers championship (not sure on the exact year of the car but around there) anyway the guy races his cars all the time and is a true enthusiast, look what he bought!

No street legal challenges denied.
Matter of fact, I could care less if Killer Angel wins or loses. If she loses we'll simply tear her down and build another one.
Besides, the motor didn't blew, we simply bent six rods.
Anyone else making that kind of power?
Give me a brake.

Seems most of the cars you've challenged manage to "not bend rods" (er: blow their motors). I think the challenge is in making a really fast car that actually runs. Most of the cars you challenge were manufactured to last more than 5 minutes. In fact, most are even warrantied 3 to 4 years!

The power you are playing with I guess is fine.
It is not even close in comparison to what I am after. I knew the stock internals would be on borrowed time for street use once 560 rwhp was exceeded. Once 600 rwhp is exceeded with stock internals the longevity decreases exponentially.
As for warranty, what real track or strip car is warranted. If you are going to play, then you are going to pay. I warrant it myself and haven't had a warranty disagreement yet.
With the new motor being built, I will be happy if it goes 35,000 miles to rebuild with 1000 rwhp.
For the record, I don't challenge anyone. It is far more fun and profitable to prey on those exotic factory warranted cars that think they will kick my butt.
Considering he above, this current rebuild will be a no cost item.
It doesn't really appear that you really want to meet KA in November when she is back together. I understand and respect your reasoning.

Seriously, I don't how Mercedes competes in this arena. This is a mark that is well known in Europe for making taxis; $750,000 for a Mercedes is a joke.
Porsche and Ferrari are the only two true competitors here.
