Sounds like a good place, any chance of a pic when you get a moment?

Thought I would post an update to this unfortunately the pic links are broken so I had to feel my way through the dark on the install. The info was very helpful however.

Installed one of these Ecliptech iShift shift lights. Impressions are great. Easy to setup, and choose your points where the lights come on and flash. Took about 1 hour including cleanup and programming to get it in and setup, only 3 wires to connect. I set my flash points to 4000 - 6000, so no lights before 4k and flashing after 6k. Set 6k at the top as I find by the time you see the light and make the shift it's another 500rpm gone so wanted to be early vs hitting the rev limiter. I can now keep eyes on the road all the time and take it to redline without having to watch the tach, very nice. The unit also has a light sensor, so bright in the day and dimmed at night.

Instructions are on the first page so I'll only attach some pics and provide some light wiring instructions:

iShift Blue/Black --> OBD Violet/Green
iShift Red/Black --> Phone connector Green/Black
iShift Black --> Phone connector Brown

The phone connector is under your center console, snap off the side covers and 2 screws on each side pull out from the front. The OBD port is three screws but need to take the cover off the fuse panel first, 4 screws. I didn't extend the wires on the iShift there was enough for me when routed straight to the hook ups.

Any questions feel free to ask!

Did mine yesterday. I already have one of these on my motorcycle and love it.

I chose to wire to the fuse box with an extend-a-fuse insert (1 amp fuse) and use the ground wire from the ODB2 cable. That kept all the wires together.

After driving with this for a while I don't understand how I lived without it previously. I just watch the street and keep my eyes out for the lights in my peripheral vision, so much more comfortable when driving hard.

Important tip for using the ODBII tach trigger wire. Use calibration setting 3 on the gauge.

You can also use the ODBII ground wire and power wire instead of the phone connector. I used an add-a-circuit on fuse A6 (heated seats)

It's nice and blinky and all, but I'll stick to trusting my ears because both my car and I like hangin' around in the higher revs and this would be a heluva distraction.

Bought my Ecliptech in 2009 and install it yesterday … Never too late

Thanks for your help King James and CBRacerX!

Note: I order round one and return it to Ecliptech and they send me a straight one without any problem. Good after sale service from this company and excellent communication! 5 stars!

That's prob a lot easier with the convertible. I hate lookin down when I'm racing and taking my eyes off the road. That works in a 200hp car but not these things.
