Sean, you guys be safe out there tomorrow running the 60-130's. Looking to see some new records. Looks like you can safely punch your car on C16 now without worries. What do you think about that 800whp set up? Dyno sheet would help, no?

My buddy that was there the day they were testing did say that they were running PS2's. Pretty amazing.
I was told the same thing as Boss351,that the race prepped cup cars were running low 1:30's. That ZR700 is fast as heck.

A buddy said the driver is a former GM test pilot. Apparently they were seeing speeds of up to 155+ on the back stretch. This vid only shows it doing 145.
I rode along with my buddy, who's a member at LSMSR, about 6 months ago and he was doing 1.55 in his 996 GT3.
That vette is pretty freaking fast.

i will post a video next week with our best runs. a bug hit the video lens so there is a smudge in the middle of the vid, but you get the idea. the car ran well for running PS2 runflat street tires.
Sure Ben could give us some better/confirmed info, but I got this from a friend that is a member there (he was there that day the ZR1 was there):
