Wish you a speedy recovery! I've nearly been there three weeks ago and had an Angioplasty with Stent Implant done but with no damage to the heart. It gets better and even though I'm forbidden from going to the track, I am back to 96% of the life I knew before the procedure. I also never checked my blood pressure and it was apparently shooting through the roof!

I'm new to the forum and don't know everybody yet, but here's my encouragement to keep pushing forward and get better soon, there's still a lot of driving that needs to be done.

If I were a Dr. I'd give you some advice, but I'm a lawyer, so I completely useless in 99.9% of situations.

it's been two weeks tue for me of hospital time the last 6 days in rehabe ,have learned a lot about my body works in that time....96% sounds real good to me will try to catch u this week... am going for 110 % he he (just wanna be a better golfer) my p car is resting for now but hopefully things will change. haveing been in my shoes i know you know how much your note means. lets press on and beat this glitch in or lives thanks again steve

 

Positive thing for me is that I finally quit smoking! Take your time and think positive always! I'm just thankful that it got caught in time because a friend of mine's at 35%. I got to get used to getting older lol I'm still in denial

 

k yep gettin older is not fun at all . i had i hd no idea iwas not 18 until this happned. i told my doc we were havin a race and u were ahead...(he gave me cane today)

khalid: quite smoking thats great my son wasable to do that on his1st try as well escapeing a huge drug prob. now he's a computer tec and has a second job. turned into a great kid. all i need to do is to become productive again which has it's dark side right now, as cal.is in avery slow time

am very thankful for your offer my wife is only mins from me so thats ok. hey are you a pca member? we at one time were very active in the local region, great people and some groups are fast drivers we have a trip to mendo once ayear you might find it fun (agreat trip)if you arn't a member it's well worth while thanks again for the offer it means alot steve

 

You are welcome Steve. I am a PCA member but have not been able to attend any of the events yet. Mostly because I work weekends.

 

ez maybe we fix that when the weather gets better and of course when i can drive. have not been to any of or monthly dinners for years maybe we can give that some thought thanks again steve
