It sounds much like my driver's side window was when I purchased my 996 TT in July.

I used the adjustment screws as mentioned previously. After a bit of fiddling, I was able to resolve my wind noise issue. The trick is to do adjustments incrementally and methodically...otherwise you can really get things out of whack.

Great thread! Back when I had a 996, air would leak out of my passenger window when my driver side window was opened. A little adjustment fixed it.
