Anyone know where i can find a front strut brace for my 996TT?

Guys, I've checked all the major board sponsors and the other major vendors; no one seems to have a 996TT strut bar in stock.

Anyone know where i can find one? Also does the c2 version work on the turbo? I was told by certain vendors that they made two versions one for rwd, one for awd. I don't know if theres any truth to that though.

Thanks in advance...

boltnbrew is infamous around these parts
These are the ones I bought. I'd do it again, but honestly, the way the front end of the car is built, I doubt that there is much benefit when driving at less than 9/10ths. They look great to me, so that's cool, but note they are pretty much hidden by the cover panel. In order to even see them, you need to remove the cover. Kind of defeats the purpose, but I have no regrets.

YMMV.

I contacted Evoms regarding this, they are out of stock...

The reason i need the strut brace is to hold my jrz canisters.

Would you like to sell me yours?

I was told by some "racing" gurus that it doesn't help in the work that anyone will see in the 996TT..the front is that stiff. A cage, that is another thing... I am not sure of my source. I asked about this 2 years ago. I actually think it was a manufacturer....of the units. Not a board sponsor. I just cannot remember.

Now to hold canister and look cool...that is another story.

I've heard that too regarding the front strut being useless.

I'm running it to hold my canisters, my bubble wrapped canisters is really not appealing.

i don't have it in my car, but from what I've been told, they will make a slight difference when you get to a certain level of driving (NOT ME, lol).
