Good deal, at least with the MAF setup you notice the difference immediately. When I went with a standalone/MAP on my 3000GT, you could blow a pipe and the car would run perfect but make no boost at full throttle. The first time this happened, a whole slew of bad thoughts went through my mind......

Glad you got her fixed!

Cheers, TK

you dont have the Vivid Racing intake, you were shipped a FREE Agency Power intake which you then returned to me and I sent you an OEM intake box.

oh you are right, I did not send you a OEM intake cause I was out and why send you 2 free things? After I sent you a FREE cold air intake to install, you got back to me after 3 months. Then finally you returned it cause you never could send me pics of it installed, cause it might not have been. If you burned 3 MAFs in 4 weeks, then you have another problem, cause that intake has never caused a MAF problem for anyone on this forum. PS your post is new and our dealings of "sponsorship" were from back in 2007 or early 2008. However if you are running K24/18G type power or near the stock MAF limit of horsepower, you will blow ANY stock MAF.

PS Vivid Distributing LLC and Agency Power Industries LLC are 2 different companies with same owners. Do you call your Hershey Bar a Mars Bar?

Your barking up the wrong tree. someone gave you a free product to test and showcase, and you did nothing with it and now bad mouthing it. Take your beefs offline with me.

calm down man ...

im not bad mouthing your product.
im just saying that from MY experience, that intake blew 3 MAFs

and as far as having it for 3 months
i didnt have it for 3 months...
if you remember, they forget to ship me out the center tube that connects the box to the intake pipe ...

it could have been the K&N filter having too much oil

I also had the same problem when I changed out my plugs....but next time this happens, you don't have to take everything apart again...all you really have to do is wrestle your hoses back into place and make sure the wire clip is oriented in the right way....and wait to hear the "click" as it slips into place. I went thru the hassle of taking everything apart again, then blew another right side hose to the intercooler at .4 bar...drove to the indy and he laughed at me...grabbed the hose and attacked it like a WWE wrestler (made me cringe)...put a little WD40 on it to make it slip in....and then yanked on it to make sure it was going to hold, and I was good to go. The hoses bend so you can wiggle them into place.

So if you bought another MAF...save the old one becasue more than likely it's still good. Try putting it in now that you have your hoses in tight...and see if it runs OK...it should.

when i had k16/24 setup i was running Agency Power(vivid Racing) carbon fiber intake...more power, more torque and good sound...No cel,no blown MAF for about 5000miles...so if somebody is at that power level, there is no way this intake will blow any MAFs...Now that i am at 650+hp with k24/18gs with injectors, intercoolers and headers,ANY intake used might blow MAFs...The limits of the stock MAF is there...with a good K24/18g tune, its Hitachi time,in order to have more power and take advantage of a good intake...
