996tt wing removal?

I need to remove my wing. I have acquired the appropriate tool and searched this (and other) forums, and generally understand how it's done. But I have seen conflicting advice on one point: some say the cylinder should be rotated counter-clockwise, but others have said clockwise is the correct direction. I understand they can be a bit balky, so I don't want to tighten it further. Does anyone have the definitive answer to this question?

Thanks in advance.
