I would advise to put the custom bumper on eBay ASAP, the old look had much more class.

akwpat is on a distinguished road
It looks alright, but it will be nicer if you can custom fit the 997 GT Street deck lid and wing. Also, something must be done with the front end.

ok here's my opinion for what it's worth which probably isn't much, especially at 3:20 in the morning...

I really like the 997 version, BUT I would probably have the big gaping vents filled in a bit by a very competent body shop, to make them smaller and resemble the vents closer to the 997 GT3 RSR like the pic below it would look amazing! I think that's why it looks a bit "rice" because they're just too darned big and gaping. But if they were made smaller and conformed with the rest of the curves of the bumper, it would clean it up quite a bit. Then, I'd add the 997 Techart Tips that I posted below. Definitely add a GT2 Wing/decklid as it will better suit the aggressiveness of the bumper. Finally (once they come out) add the Precision Porsche LED tail lights (hint Edwin!!! lol )

Scott,

Definitely some great ideas here In regards to the LED lights for the 996TT, it's stalled b/c there are some issues with the 996nb led lights ( hyperblink, throwing codes on the dash) so we are not going to invest any more capital and time into this until that gets resolved.
