Porsche could have chosen any color they wanted and selected silver for the 996TT - please accept this is the correct answer. Otherwise kindly direct any complaints to the Museum curator.

Maybe thats not the most popular color but just the only color they couldn't sell excess stock off, so it got the display gig....

Black is my 2nd choice.

My old 996 was Arctic Silver "the official Porsche color". Wanted a different color for the turbo.

It's a museum...they can't bombard the senses with lime green, speed yellow or orange...
