Hello I'm a member from Belgium and I do really like this forum. I have a 996 x 50 turbo from 2003 and nothing has been modded on my car. Last week I took the car to my official porsche garage for a 40000 km service. This is called a Big service. I still have an extended warranty. This friday my brother -in law took the car home( I didn't have time, work..........)and I thrust him my car because he is a very safe driver. Today I took the car for a ride and saw that they had overfilled the oil it is at full at the reading. Can this hurt my engine? And a second thing made me more angry is that I almost lost control over the car after a heavy brake. This really scared me. I tried a couple of times to brake and always when I brake hard the car goes to the left and the to the right( it is like he is floating . What can this be? Please help. What shoud I do

It is possible that I didn't explain it good but when I do a heavy braking the car isn't stable at all. I never had this before I only dit a 150 km after the service. When I brake the nose of the car is diving and I really have to "work" for not losing control.

Did the shop do an alignment? About the only explanation that I can think of for the alternating direction pulling under braking is too much toe or camber, coupled with uneven road surfaces.

pleases consider the over fill (way to much is a bad thing) hopefully it's only a slight amount but the deal er should check for at nc. i'd call em and if the thinks it's a big thing they will flat bed it, they should also have a record of how much oil they put into the car
They didn't do an alingnment. Tomorrow I ill call them at 9 o clock. But It is pretty ennoiing that I have to go back to the dealer. It is 1 our driving, and I have a lot of things to do(work like everybody)....Thanks for the replying.
Did they change out the brake fluid as part of the service? Could they have left air in the lines? Does your PSM/ABS light come on?
I know you trust your brother in law....but anytime you have work done to your car or someone else drives is and something goes wrong....I ALWAYS go back to the things that were done before the problems started. In your case, whatever service they did...and someone else drove it. I'm not being accusatory, but I dont' believe in coincidence.
