Excellent article. I guess the deciding factor for me would be the support issue. Availability of Porsche techs will send me that way again.

Gallardo and Turbo X50 cost the same? I thought a Gallardo was much more expensive.

I thought only the RHD 911 turbo was saddled with the piddly 64 litre tank? I thought the LHD had an 88 litre tank.

It's an Audi now, so it still needs tons of service but it's under warranty now.

Chrissy forgot to mention that the Lambo drinks fuel compared to the X50 which averages 19 - 22 mpg combined....I've averaged 19.8 mpg and the car's only done 1200 miles. The Lambo's totally impractible in town and it's nice to have a few people admire your car as you drive by...but do you really want every body stopping and staring at your car as if you were in a f$£%!@g circus

For $150K apiece, the Lambo in a landslide.

I can get a low mileage, used X50 for under 100. You're not getting a Gallardo under 100K. Period. Not even in 2 years.

Between a $95K used X50 and a $150L Lambo, I'd go with the X50.

Just my opinion... but, I'd take a Gallardo over X50 all day any day every day... why, is anyone interested in a swap?
