Hey guys,
I've been trying to hunt down an ABS pump for my 01 996 Turbo for a few weeks now because I don't want to have to order a new one - they only have them in Germany and they take weeks to get - and they're expensive.

The part does NOT have to be out of an 01 Turbo, it can come out of an 02-05 Turbo also i've been told by the Porsche mech.

They said I need a pump that matches ANY of the following 5 part #'s:

996.355.955.51
996.355.955.57
996.355.955.58
996.355.955.59
996.355.955.63

Already tried that,
I received the wrong part about 2-3 times, then the last attempt to get the right one they didn't have any of the units in stock.. So it was a wash. Trying to see what other sources there are out there. Thanks though

 

Just a quick thought, I dont do business with them so not sure how they are. Let me keep thinking.

If you know ANY 01-05 Turbo cars they are being parted out then it could potentially work - as long as the # matched any of those 5 above.

The car has been down a month, tons of new mods on it but no way to drive it I want a pump bad!! haha

I already dealt with Caleb on this, really nice guy but I kept getting the wrong part. So in order to save them and myself the hassle, i'm trying to go another route to see what I can do.


I found a pump already with the correct #'s and it'll be here Friday.
