Clutch Reservoir...996tt

Does anyone know why my power steering fluid bleeds over into my clutch reservoir. It causes it to overflow getting CHF11 fluid all over. How can it be repaired?

New slave and accumulator. Buy the Evom's GT2 Hydraulic kit so you don't have to do this again....and again....and...

It is a problem a lot of people had and the only solution is to replace the clutch slave cylinder. If you do a search with the words "slave cylinder" you will found a lot of info...

Listen to bravo and get the gt2 mod. My slave and accumulator have been done twice in a year including breaking the ears off my throwout bearing. Not fun to drop the motor for a $30 part.

When my clutch is ready or replacement next time or when the slave/accumulator break again...whichever comes first, I am doing the conversion.

Yeah, and do it soon too. You don't want that stuff dripping onto your exhaust if it really is "all over", or else kaboom.

Go with the GT2 kit and be done with it! I changed my acc. out and then my slave went out. I was fed up and just did the GT2 conversion and am 10X happier! The feel is soo much better and much more predictable. I have a GT2 slave bracket if your interested in the FS section.

Replace the clutch operating cylinder as well aka master cylinder.

I had the exact same symptom with the pentosin overflowing in the clutch resovour.

I replaced the accumulator and slave first since they were cheaper but it was the master that finally cured it.

Talking Thanks Boys.....

KOOL>>>>thanks for the info! I have been using a 20 cc syringe and transferring the petosin back into the power steering pump. Had to do this every 4-6 days.
