Guys, the people from Wicked posted here once to my knowlege. They admitted that the cars they sell are often salvage but they openly disclose that to the buyer. They also said that their cars allow Porsche owners to see what a converted cars look like and that they can and do convert donor cars for owners who want it done, many of which are not salvage.
As I recall many of the board memmbers actually apologized for badmouthing the company for selling salvaged cars. As far as i've seen they have always been forthcoming if the car in question has a salvage title.
That said, I think the GMG kit is a bit more subtle. I like it better.
I have no idea what each kit costs.

Nothing wrong with salvage cars, as long as they are fixed right. I've seen plenty of pretzels with clean titles and histories. Honestly, I think carfax is for hypocrites and was invented to steer potential buyers to buy "brand new, risk free" cars.
You may want to check American International Racing, I don't know about the quality of their product but the price seems right: http://www.americaninternationalracing.com
Looks interesting, but I couldn't find any pictures of completed cars.

The GMG kit in my opinion is the nicest.
Steve if you're interested shoot me a PM I got a great body shop near you that has experience in this and specializes in Porsches.

So why does wicked*motorworks make their ebay auctions secret? Bidder IDs hidden...
and how come their feedback is from sales back in 2007?
Interesting looking cars, gotta wonder about whats going on underneath.

I don't know the answers to your questions but I can share with you my personal experience. Like you, I first saw a WICKED car on eBay. I loved the look. I emailed them and ended up making an appointment to go see their cars in person. I ended up buying a car not listed in the auction (the black stealth WICKED 7). Since I didn't purchase through eBay, I didn't leave feedback. While I was there, Beau was in contact with some Russian guy who saw the cars on eBay as well. The Russian ended up having some additional custom work done and purchased a yellow 997 turbo sight-unseen. Again, no feedback.
