for the first time, i saw a widebody 996tt ...
i absolutely fell in love with it.. the one i saw was a "wicked" widebody..
just curious
HOW do they replace the rear fenders ?
how much does it cost...
i know that you can fit a 355 25 19 in the rear
how much would all this slow the car down at higher speeds ?

Ebay usually has these cars with a salvage title on them. (I'M NOT SAYING THAT THEY ALL ARE.) When a car needs a bunch of new body panels, it's smarter (maybe) to build the car with these different panels as 1) it probably costs less than rebuilding with factory parts and 2) it makes the car "different" than the other salvage cars out there, making it more marketable.
I'm pretty sure that the guy that's selling them on Ebay is the actual builder. He'd have the parts, and I assume would sell them as a kit. I'd go that route, as I don't think these are stocked anywhere. I'm pretty sure that most of those cars started off as narrow bodies, too, so they may not fit the TT.
I'm pretty sure they build it themselves. contact greenturbo here... he has built one on his previous car. There are no widebody kits for our turbos... all have to be hand made.
