There is no fluid leaks and the problems only occures when you start out and get a little aggressive with the throttle. It then goes into the limp mode with the warning only allowing up to 4th gear. We stop turn off the car for about 1 min and it's back into the normal mode and as long as you don't get aggressive from the start (anything 2nd gear and below) it's fine.
I just noticed that the heated seat is not working on the drivers side. When the swtich is turned on the red light on the switch flashes then goes off.
Has anyone had this problem with the heated seats. Passenger side is working fine. Is it just the switch?

it's going in today, I'm keeping my fingers crossed, from what i"ve read the TCU unit seem to be the brain for everything and I'm thinking that might be part or all of the problem

well I took it in today and looks like it will either be the torque converter or I will need a whole new transmission...I am hoping that it is only the torque converter.
does anyone know if the 997 transmission will mount up to the 996?
