Neil Orton UPDATE

Agreed. Bad members should go in there as well. A bad member is less likely to do large scale damage to multiple others, but they can still hurt a small group. Back to that wheel thread, that member should be in this new forum as well.

Hey Guys,
I know this thread is old but i like to know about my tune.
I got a Neil Orton ecu flash on my car. This person before me that had the car had it done. Any reviews on this? I like to retune my ecu but not sure if they took out something in my ecu box.....

WOW this is bad news but also good news on what you said. What i don't like about this tune is when i overboost there's no TB shutdown or any lights that go on.

Woah there. Neil did not tune ANYTHING, his tunes were imported from Germany, and the guy that did them was pretty awesome. You have a quality tune in that car. I have had my Orton Tune for 6 years without a hitch. Made as high as 525 SAE (5 i think) on a dynojet. Trapped 125 mph full weight. And is the real deal as far as off the shelf tunes go.
Fret not my friend. Neil will steal some stuff, but "his" tunes are legit.
There was another guy here from the northeast that had one of his tunes in a GT2 and it was really fast. Al Norton had his motor built by Neil (and another guy from Germany) and the rev limit set at 8000 rpm for 4 or 5 years with big ole turbos on it and no problems from that motor. And this is a ROAD RACE motor, car was on the track all the time.
Have not seen that anywhere else.

Can I ask you something. Do I need a new tune with a 5 bar?
Also do I need a new tune with the 18g setup?
