2nd gear pop out, rear main seal, leaking spoiler hydraulics would be some of the bigguns.

No rear main seal leaks on the turbo motor.

I had mine replaced when I had the trans out. I was getting a few drips.

If you find a car and it is some distance away, you can ask here if there are any local members who know the car- someone might even o a driveby for you.

Then ask for recommendations on local mechanics- not shops, but actual people. Call them. Discuss what you are looking for...use the CPO checklist, and add a DME dump for all codes and overrev data... depending on what you see, the mechanic might suggest a compression/leakdown. Be aware there is no 'standard PPI inspection'...

make sure there is no gum stuck under the driver's seat, and the power band is not rusted

haha I'll have to look under the seat too. nice one. For rusty power band, are you talking about the power delivery when we rev the engine? or is that a name for parts?
