New car experience...

Well I have had the turbo since last Friday. I have barely driven it since the weather has been less than ideal.

I got a chance to run for milk (just an excuse to go for a ride ) and as i SLOWLY pulled out of the local Dairy Barn, the front scraped (or is it scrapped?) the street surface. What an awful sound. Upon inspection it is ok. The very bottom is scraped. It is not visible. I guess this is one item that will inevitably get abused.

You can take light sandpaper to the bottom of the OEM front spoiler and sand it down to make it smooth again, just a tip.

Dude, get used to it. It is plastic for a reason... it will drive you insane if every time you scratch, you go try and fix it. I am just going to replace mine when it gets bad. If you do not drive it often, that's one thing... but I put about 20K/ year on my car. This is also the reason why I do not upgrade to the aftermarket front spoilers... I envy you guys in FL & CA where you can slam the car down, look awesome and not worry about destroying it. Whether you are in Philly, NY or Boston, the roads just plain suck. Driving here is like driving an autoX every day. And if its not the potholes, it just has to be the cobble stones. _All_ the roads around my condo and garage are cobble stones. I am just waiting for the day my car just gives up and falls apart. Thank goodness it is a lease.
