My Repair Experiance with Stuttgart Performance
My Repair Experiance with Stuttgart Performance
For the last few weeks it was getting tougher and tougher to shift. At first I though it was a clutch but after a little more digging I decided it was the accumulator. I decided to take tha car over to Stuttgart Performance in Costa Mesa. I had never worked with them before but I saw them on the board so I thought I would give them a try.
From my first minute dealing with Mike and the rest of the guys I couldn't have been happier. First of all I broke down a few blocks from their shop. They happily grabbed the shops guys and a friend with a tow and loaded me up and got me to the shop safe and sound(didnt charge me). Once they got the car apart we found that I needed a pump and resevior in addition to the accumulator...after getting that in place...we found that the slave needed to be done as well...that was done and the car is now ready to go. A few other points... Mike kept in touch with me by email with regular updates...in addition I had a extended warrenty company that Mike had to deal with in order to get my repairs covered...he did that as well. He never tried to over sell me on anything extra and was always very professional. He did make a few recomendations in regard to setup that I will be doing in the near future. In addition to the free tow Mike fixed a broken battery box at no charge as well...thanks guys..
Keep in mind I am the GM of a Toyota dealership...so I oversee a large shop myself and understand good service. Anyone in the OC/Long Beach/LA area who needs a good shop won't go wrong with the guys at Stuttgart. I'm very happy....

I think it's great that people post about great service experiences. I just did the same re TCDesignFab that did a cornerbalance/alignment for me today. Also, Sharkwerks has been great to work with. They did a GIAC flash for me a couple years ago, but when their relationship w/ GIAC ended and I had a problem, Alex and James stepped up and took care of me. The only thing better than our great cars are the good people who do the right thing in a pinch.
