No sound from Speakers

Guys

Oddest thing. I was out and about and the stereo was fine. Turned car off and went inside and when I came back out and started the car I get no sound from the stereo. I can see the radio station messages, CD names and tracks playing, NAV screen works.

Are the speakers on a separate circuit and fuse? Turned car off and back on, still nothing. Any ideas? It is a 03 TT with NAV.

TIA

I have the same setup ('03 w/ NAV) and this happened to me once right after I got the car last month. I believe my solution was just to turn the car off, get out and arm the alarm, wait a few minutes, and try again. Apparently this caused the MOST system to reset and reinitialize properly. I've heard if you are impatient, there is a fuse you can pull and re-insert to make the process faster....can't remember which one.

No worries. I was panicking when it first happened to me... I did a whole lot of searching on here and RL and the solution was just to stop worrying, hah!
