Excellent "Shock Basics" primer in this montsh GRM...
SubscribeGrass Roots Motorsports has an excellent article this month for the basics on understanding shocks and how they function in laymans terms... I recommend it for anyone who wants to have a better understanding on what all this "STUFF" means!

Probably not Mike and Tom. I am subscribed and find it quite interesting at times and quite boring at times. I enjoyed reading the stats on the Farnbacher Loles car. I wonder if the 2700 is with or without driver? I didn't realize those cars were that light. If that minimum is with driver, wow.
The Shock article has some good basics and is a worthwhile read. Only correction I would make is in his first paragraph at the upper left of the page, The rebound phase is not called jounce. Jounce is interchangable with bump and is a term applicable to the compression phase.
