i have a 75km 996 4S which is my daily driver... i have noticed for the past 2 months or so that shifting from 3rd to 2nd is a bit harder and not what it used to be...esp when the car is cold and on the first few shift of the day

but 3-4 days ago when i was downshiftting from 3rd to 2nd a heard and FELT this kkkkkkkchhhh sound...it felt as IF i changed without the clutch....

what might be the problem?? cost??

factory warrenty job?? i think i have a month or so left..but im plainng on buying the extra W from the dealership (the local dealership is REALLy good when it comes to doing ANYTHING and EVERYTHING under W D: ...unlinke the local mercedes..they sometimes makes us pay half even if it under a year old...)

take it to the dealer, leave it with them have them drive it, hope that it happens when a tech is driving it, then you get a new tranny
