Dealer -- Major Service
Dealer -- Major Service
So, my MAF blew up over the weekend and I took in my car to see the Christmas light display on the dash (engine check, PSM and ABS all lit up.) Dealer confirmed it was nothing and are covering the switch by the warranty. (I am about to sell the Turbo; but my wife is trying to convince me to keep it as her daily driver in place of her SUV.)
Dealer, however, suggested that given the mileage (almost 25k), I need the major service.
Question: Is it worth it? they quoted me $1.6K (and agreed to install my new turbo hoses for .5 of an hour because of the major service.)

You don't need service until 30,000 and then many of the items on the dealer's list are only for making him money. If I were you, I'd research the list and have an indy shop do the major ones. Most of the dealer's list is inspection items which they charge too much for.
