Traction (cold weather) help..
Traction (cold weather) help..
I'm using michelin pilot sports (not ps2's) and I'm running the factory recommended tire pressure. The temperature here has dropped about 40 degrees and now I'm slipping all over the place, ha, it's kinda sketchy. Anyone else experience this? Is there anything I can do like change the tire pressures or anything to get more grip? I'm hesitant when hitting turns and accelerating cause I keep thinking I'm gonna lose it even though I probably won't. Traction control always straigtens everything out but it's kind of annoying... Any advice? Thanks
The rubber of normal tires just gets too hard at low temperatures. Even if there's no snow on the road, snow-/winter-tires are highly recommended under those conditions.
It isn't too cold yet here in Switzerland, but I'll probably switch to the Pirelli SnowSport in a few weeks...
