996 Turbo / GT2 Turbo discussion on previous model 2000-2005 Porsche 911 Twin Turbo and 911 GT2.

Will these wheels fit on my 996 Turbo? What specs should I look for to fit my car?

My car is lowered, so I want to make sure there is no rubbing.... here are the wheel specs:

Rim Information
Brand: Unknown Number of Bolts:5 Material:Alloy Width:8.0" front & 10.0" rear Bolt Pattern:5 x 5.12 or 5 x 130 Diameter:18 inches Offset:50 mm front & 46 mm rear Part Number (MPN): Unknown

These will be a second set of wheels for race rubber.

they're not as wide as stock wheels in the rear. Your best bet for track wheels are stock hollow spokes.

Thanks, I've seen a few of those up on ebay as well. Unfortunately, people want a lot of money for them. What is the weight difference between normal Turbo wheels and the hollow spokes?

Hollows are approx 22 and 26 (F/R).....and as I recall, press said hollows were 25% lighter than previous 'solid' spoke.

Most standard turbo wheels are hollow. Only 1/2 of the 01 cars came with solid wheels.
