I would love to know the difference in weight as well. It may be surprising. Do you use the care a lot on the track, or is it a driver for you that you enjoy on the street?

 

I was comparing 18" OEm vs 18" CCW. I know that the 19x11 weighs in at 23.9 pounds.

its not jsut the weight.. Its tire availability, tire price, driveability, etc. This is a street car.

 

i cant believe nobody on this board has the sp500s!!

 

I have CCW's in 18" and i love them... i don't think they look outdated at all.

I have been driving on 19s in the pot hole heavy city of SF for over a year. I don't find it that bad, but maybe my Monobloks are stronger than most? I think I heard that. I try to be careful but sometimes those little snipers get me!

I love the look of 19s on the 996TT and not so much the 18s. I think 19s are the sweet spot.

yeah, i agree... i just like all the perks of the 18s though.

 

hey exclusive TT, i do have some fikse for sale, but a guy promises to pick them up this next week, so I didn't want to put them up FS... the ones on my car are not for sale. :P

Yeah, i opened up a wholesale account with chip a couple of months ago, but with all the cheap used wheels, I figured id give that a try. I havent found anything, so it looks like Im gonna buy a set from them. Now to decide between 18 and 19... anyone good with photoshop?
