today being sunday the 26th i saw a silver 356 (vintage race car) entering the freeway near auburn ca. it had i think the nos 51 in the doors leather belts as hood hold downs and a gumball like sticker on the left rear the sticker said (snow ralley) or snow something. had my pnone but was not smart enought to take a pic.

they had what looked like a forward faceing camera on a tripod in the rear. i slowed up to take alook waved and let them take advantage of their camera
anyone know if something was going on in the low sierras as far as 356s

 

It may have been the mille miglia which is going on this week - they left this morning from San Francisco and are staying the next two nights in Carmel.

They had the cars on display yesterday at the Fairmont hotel - was pretty cool to check out.
