Girodisc rocks

Having done business with Martin at Girodisc previously for Ferrari needs, I went back to him and his so nicely engineered and produced product for the 996.
330mm on all four corners, parking brake still works and although I have not been to the track yet, have done over 100 miles in the mountains and the results are great. Awesome feel, great stopping power and no fade even coming down 8 miles of switchbacks under hard throttle input.
Thanks to RSS as well as Greg over there did a great job on helping me get the whole package.

which pads are you using with your new setup? Are slotted better then the cross drilled style?

noice! I have a custom made set just came off the cnc. should be delivered any day.

went with 350's all around.

going with another set of pagid yellow 29's. these are claimed to last 4x as long than the motorsport discs.

If you look at the pic of old rotor you can see all the cracks around the drilled holes. Drilled are a bit lighter of course but are not as durable. The debate about performance is a volume for sure, but most of the guys that I lean on for advice said go slotted.
I went with Pagid RS421 sport pads. No squeal! If I end up tracking the car alot I can get more aggressive pads for track days but these are a very good compromise pad and work well when warmed up, with out squealing when cold.
SS lines and Motul fluid.

Very nice set up.

I agree the slotted is the way to go. I also run pagid 4-2-1's upfront on the street and canyons. Great all around pads. 4-2-1's have much better bite when cold and no squeel. Yellow RS29's are the way to go on the track takes more heat to get initial bite but can handle much more track abuse.
