Dyno'd today on Dynodynamics 406rwhp 16psi but looking for options in exhausts. Nothing crazy but who/what do you recommend?

I recommend you put an extra shrimp on the barbie, and while it's cooking, use the search button.

I'm kidding M8! I'm a newb also, and have been waiting to use this on a fellow newb. LOL!

What are you looking for in an exhaust mate? Max power? Max noise? Quiet power?

For me if money is no issue I'd get a Kreissieg

More power of course, but nothing off it's head noise wise, average in price. Something middle row if you understand my drift.

Take a look at youtube at jcbmemphis and I have some Switzer sound clips. I am very, very happy with it....

The standards here are many: speedtech (cross flow is new and perhaps his best one), europipe, gmg, umw, switzer, fabspeed, and some modded OEM ones (the local one TJW (I am the J), Ruf's, scargo). It is really amazing how many options there are. There are many threads on this topic....many points of view. And many happy people. Try to find people with the units so you can hear them up close...you need to be in the car from 2-4k to really get it.

The switzer sounds like a gt3 at higher revs....my DE instructors (with GT3's and GT3RS's) loved it. Says much IMHO.

Good luck.

Middle of the road price, great performance == Speedtech (DGI industries).

He is a poster and sponsor here, maybe someone can give you a link.

I love my Switzer with cat delete but it is higher priced.

Thanks guys, sometimes youtube doesn't do the sounds justice! But don't want a drone that's for sure.

If you can find a used europipe, go for it. I just put one on and the sound is intoxicating. Noise inside is very much like stock when cruising, but when you step on it, or even from the outside when idling, it sounds the way these cars should have come from the factory. I remember how disappointed I was with the sound of a 996tt when i first heard one start up. With the Europipe, I am grinning ear to ear!

I had the GMG exhaust installed before I even brought my GT2 home. I really like the quality, looks, and sound, although it is a bit loud.

Give us some info on your new GT2. Where did you get it? Do you know its history? Some pics would be nice.

I have a Ruf and it sounds great... I have no idea what the veterans around here think of it but it sounds great and build quality looks very nice. It's not too loud and has a definite growl. Kinda pricey though...

Anybody else have a Ruf? They make big performance gains claims but can anybody back those up, I haven't been on a dyno...

Thanks guys, will post up some pics shortly. I think I am going to go speedtech X system. I am really loving it's power delivery. Wish I had bought it sooner.
