Evoms GT750 & Protomotive k24/20g vs. HPF Stage 3 Turbo M3
Some verified 60-130 times would go a long way here. An HPF stage 2.5 has run a verified 5.86 but I can tell you that from experience that the M3 (front engine, skinnier tires) faces substantial traction problems. A EVOMs GT 700, however should run around a 6.4-6.5 w/ little traction problems.
What tires is the M3 running? You have to run DR's or at least R comps if you want to hook at all.

Yes, def find a safer spot than some public highway going 130 + MPH. Especially the M3 guy with traction problems. You can make any car fast and sure HPF M3s are fast but they are severely limited by their platform. For typical street encounters and friendly runs while maintaining a degree of sanity, no question a well modded streetable 996TT will take down a typical street HPF stage 2,3 whatever M3. Ask me how I know..
Theres a local here that has a 2.5 HPF Turbo M3 that put a huge smackdown on a EVOMS 700

Are you kidding me? You are the one who jumped in this thread being so defensive. I tried to keep things objective, yet you wouldn't let things go. I will continue to speak my mind. FYI Dyno Queen refers to cars not people.

So you want to run under perfectly optimal conditions for your setup then? This is getting out of hand. I already removed the videos. The awd in 996tt's isn't totally an advantage. You know what Rob, it's pointless to continue to argue.
To keep this sort of problems from coming up in the future, we'll just not do pulls with our cars anymore. This is stupid. No hard feelings on my end. Just a logical way to prevent future disputes. Goodluck with your car.

dude no not OPTIMAL conditions... all i wanted was to do some fair runs where im not losing traction...unless you really dont want to run against me i insist we do our runs sometime in the near future just to shut you up no fense man..no hard feelings either.
take care
It's funny how you talk about respect. It's quite refreshing to see your true colors shine.
For those of you who don't know, I was rear ended quite hard, so my car will be down for a bit.
Stop sending me pm's, the videos will be back up. Although, I will not continue responding to "hpfm3"
Sorry I will not run you in the future. I guess I just don't want to.
Are you kidding me? "Shut you up, No Offense, No hard feelings" I wonder would this statement be considered an "oxy-moron"?

Kripes we've got bigger engines, 700HP at the wheels ought to be no big deal! Supra have run as much as 1K at the wheels on stock blocks although past 900 the main caps begin to walk around. The M3 is a straight six too correct? If the block and rotating assembly are strong these ought to be capable of coming close to that and judging from his dyno sheet he is! 2BAR, even 2.1BAR isn't extreme in my book, 996 run way lower than I'm used to but the displacement gets the job done...I'm really looking forward to folks like Wes and Justin finding out the limits on these motors. Supra guys used to think 600RWHP was the limit too once upon a time. My fingers are crossed that 700 at the wheels is doable without swapping rods. We'll see. What kinds of power are the Subbie guys making out of their flat 6 motors before they have to do rods, anyone know?
Edit: As for wanting to do runs where traction isn't an issue, don't we all want that? Make enough power and it's simply not going to happen. Look hard at aftermarket traction control. I'll never forget having gotten used to mine and turning it off on the highway one day, I went to pass a slower car and boost came up in 3rd - I blew the tires off at over 60MPH and had the car try to swap lanes. My data logs showed a 30-40MPH swing in wheelspeed. I turned the RaceLogic back on after that and went to clean my shorts. This was on fat R rated rubber and 700 horse, with 800+ at the wheels your issues are even worse. Asking for ever high start speeds isn't a good solution nor is it really fair IMO. You need to get that sorted out or you're going to end up in a ditch

There will always be another race. This thread is becoming similar to the one I posted a year ago when I took the drag Camaro. Take a deep breath guys. Move on with a loss or win, you both know your car's potential no reason to argue. Just my 2 cents.
We all know your M3 is a beast, no question about it and it sounds great in that video you posted. What I don't understand is that you are racing against some high hp P-cars and you are running in your low hp map? I would imagine you would want to run meth all the time especially when racing since it is safer for your engine. Also if you could switch so easily from map to map, why did you not do this. Just curious. I mean when I go to a race and race against such worthy cars and video is being shot, I give it all I have.
+1. If you know it's going to end up with a video on you-tube and/or this forum...bring your "A" game...as you can see, excuses are NOT accepted here. Accept your loss and bring your whole bag of tricks next time...
