Sorry to take any attention away from the OP, but hopefully it'll help him choose the right setup. I have a feeling I'm going to be going through more sets of PS2's than I had hoped.

The spool on the 28r's is mind blowing. They're making nearly 100 ftlbs more at 3200 then k24/18g's with at least the same peak power (more) as I would expect on a k24/18g car. Ill let Cossey post his final results. Untill then alittle teaser.

Spool/Power Delievery compare :
Blue - 24/18
Green - 3071 - Tial (New Alpha series turbos)
Red - 28rs - Tial (New Alpha series turbos )

Tony, This spool rate seems very similar to k16/16g, but just more power similar TQ. Is this correct? I recall i made 540 lbft TQ at about 3700 rpms on the 16G's.

Tony, In that case is this turbo the best yet? ..Since it has faster spool than 16g and also has the top end of 18G. Best of both worlds.

Also would like to see how much TQ it makes down low compared to 16g...i thought 16g's were crazy making 540lbft at 3700rpms..

cant wait to see Vince's car when done..

I guess I am done modding turbos for a while now. I went from k16 to k16 flash to k16/16g to k24/18g in 5 months. How's that for some upgrade...

In my opinion..k16/16g are the best bang for the buck. No one really needs more power on street or track! If you are street racing ...that's a different story , upgrading never ends - someone is always faster than you.

And how does a standard K24 compare to these? Clearly it's the worst since it would have to be less than the K24/18g, but how much worse?

I'll post up final results and complete mod list as soon as I get the car back. That should give more insight with these. I already know they're gonna be absolute **** on the street.
