don't they look alike
i got this off a post over at rennlist from a post made by Eric - Plug Guy (i hope he doesn't mind) the important thing here are the new head lights on the 997. 
i never did realise how similar they were to... THANKS to Eric - Plug Guy over at Rennlist

At the autocross today the guy parked next to me had a 993... a couple people came up to his car and said "wow this is the first of the new 911's I've seen!".
Gee I'd love to buy a new car that is mistaken for a 10 year old car!!
