Ah, no, meaning this is a 996Turbo/GT2 forum and those that want to gloat about 280hp should be there..I had a Boxster S before so I know first hand how they drive. If you have a TT then a Boxster is just that, no comparision between one and the TT IMO. Have you tracked the Boxster before??

Read my bio at the bottom..."track trailer for the Boxster". The Boxster is TONS more fun to drive at the track. Lighter, better turn in, better balanced, no AWD, excellent chassis dynamics... The turbo is so stupid fast, you look good even when you drive like crap. Plus turbo lag is no end of annoying on the track; give me NA any day; and the total lack of PSM.

And this is from a convertible, no less. I bet the coupe will be a real track star.

Sure, in a turbo you look like a fast driver, but for me it is a bit of a hollow achievement. The stock TT feels like, and is, a fast as crap GT cruiser. I will probably get shelled by fellow TT owners for hinting at such blasphemy, but I think it is true.

I rather turn the PSM off in the TT and become a better driver with the extra hp, the TT is faster and has ABS like the Boxster and AWD but it is faster and is not an easy car to drive at 100% with the PSM off. On the street any shmuck can drive fast, on the track with 500-600 hp and no PSM it takes skill to drive really fast not just down the straights.
