forhamilton is infamous around these parts
^^I have heard that dunno. Thing about Ruf is that it is not just some over tuned animal. As civilized or more so than a stock vehicle.

RUF is not the fastest by any means... but if you're going to think of it as a tuner then think of it as a whole. The whole car has been tuned to work together, organically, efficiently and with realibility. You can beat these cars up. I've seen too many great tuner cars who can blow away a RUF on a straight away, but aren't the best in the canyons. Some, have incredible speeds but overheat or are not reliable. While I have a conversion, it was done at RUF Germany when new and the work is just great. I picked up my car used and on the FIRST drive, I drove over 1,500 miles. RUF is the only "mod" that will actually increase the car's value vs lowering (in some cases). That being said, if you just want speed the RUF is not the way to go. Personally, I love the fact that I'm totally comfortable getting in my car driving to a race track 300 miles away and driving it back.

Every mod on my car was done "holistically," designed to work together as a package. The problems arise when individuals demand more power (say bigger turbos) yet refuse to go along (spend the money) w/ a tuners recomendation that they upgrade the brakes, IC's, clutch, etc. necessary to go along w/ the new power.

I have seen guys go for big power many times yet refuse to upgrade their IC's, clutches etc because they are simply too cheap ("cough cough" Paulie Walnut "cough cough").

RUF produces complete packages, however if you are smart and willing to do lots of research on your own and take the advice of top tuners, you can build a better car for less money. I spent 25K to do what RUF would do for 100K.

True, but you won't get as much back in its sale as if you had it done by RUF. But if you're not going to sell... who cares?

this car follows the foot step that the rest of RUF demo's have made, combination of speed & style which come hand in hand, good find nontheless.

Yes I saw that build up, impressive numbers. But will it last and have the reliability of a Ruf? Only time will tell. Honestly, if one is going to do all those changes perhaps something other than a Ruf conversion would have been a better starting point?? IMHO of course, it's his car and money.
