Two recent local mishaps... Apparently some people in Seattle don't know how to handle the recent warmer weather. Or do you think it's alcohol? Fortunately nobody was hurt in either incident.

I didn't know our cars could go underwater. Some locals are referring to this one as the U-Boat.

This other one occurred not far from where I live. I haven't seen too many Beemers upside down before (only in the movie Ronin, actually)... The driver will probably be going on a vacation courtesy of the court system given his past driving record.

I didn't know whether that's part of standard incident handling or if he's capturing the moment for himself. I suppose it's not every day you see something like this...

Steve, I know what you mean about in bed by 9 PM in California. I could never find a decent restaurant open after 9 when I used to live in San Jose. Course, the restaurants are generally better there than in Seattle, IMHO.
