EVOMSit GT900+ Torque Monster
Tom, it is disappointing to hear that you find it necessary to hide Porsche upgrades from your significant other. Marriage is a partnership based on trust and mutual disclosure. That is why when it was time to take my car to EVOMS a few weeks ago I practiced what I am preaching. I laid it on the line to my wife, no sugarcoating,no obfuscation, no parsing of words. The harsh light of truth was shining upon me. That is what separates you and I my friend..... My wife was fully informed of my decision to have Todd upgrade my diverter valves and wastegate springs.
Oh the life of lies we lead!

Kevin, fantastic hearing your car is complete. Todd & John wrapped this up for you in short order. Looking forward to the ensuing documentary of her life on the road.
Mike

KPG - did you delete your reply to my post about logging the car? I read your reply in my email but didnt get to reply back until now and I don't see it anymore...weird...
Anyways...happy to hear you have Durametric...I'm very interested to see logs of the car once you get home.

, I was trying to edit it to correct some spelling. I just like my grammar proper, and BOOM, it was gone. I was staring at the screen with a blank look on my face
... decided it would be safer to watch the Red Wings from my couch. But ,yes I do have Durametric and anyone with a car that is modified from the minor to the major really should have it...Editing again, dont get upset if its gone!... BTW how do you like your 3071s?

Thanks Tom for posting... we learned a lot about intercoolers last night and this morning. We could not get past 730 or so AWHP last night in mid 90 degree heat. We did swap out the cats for straight pipes but kept the Switzer exhaust on the car. This morning we put on a set of EVO ICs and we got 780 at 7800 rpm. The amazing thing on the dyno sheet Tom posted, which is the best run from yesterday compared to the best run from today, is the mid range TQ. A full 100 AWTQ jump at 4500rpm just by swapping the B6 anti-intercoolers for the EVO unit... no other change and temps are the same. We are done with race fuel tuning , I am sure we can run it up a few more hundred rpm,but at this point 780AWHP and 730 AWTQ is just fine by me....
Currently retuning pump gas for the new ICs and cat deletes. First run on 93 was 673AWHP and 673AWTQ. Although AFRs on the run were 11 even we are going to tune down to high 10s and 640-650 at the wheels and call it a day. All in all, I have the time of my life hanging out with the EVOMS crew. I just hope Todd isnt billing me for all the RaceFuel energy drinks
.... what a ride it has been..

BTWm your exhaust looks bad ***. I am still waiting on my X flow exhaust, although I am not sure of the delay. Daryl will have your exhaust done in about two business days
....
Ben, I will sell them to you if you are interested! Actually they were that bad. It wasnt even temps it was pressure drop as well. They are garbage, plain and simple. The cores might be good but we were FLOWING more air as well as cooler air.....
