Honestly, great decision. Have fun w/ the car, then maybe do some head and cam work, then think about some boost
you know at first you just think "WOW FREE TURBO!" But then reality sets in and you remember that there's no such thing as a free lunch. I thought about it hard all day and know this is the right decision.

The funny thing is i didn't even WANT to do anything to the car until i came across this offer. The car is brilliant as it is. i'm sure I have many seconds to scrub off just by improving my driving.

That is the perfect halloween car.

I saw a light grey or beige one in palo alto yesterday. Back looks really curveseous. Side quarter pose looks like a MR2.

+1 for not going on with it.
The car must be awesome to drive, I guess it's very reliable.

Free turbo sounds like "Whoa! Awesome" ... but the downtime after that might be a PITA. Not that this shop isn't good, I dunno ... the car is brand new and runs perfect ... I wouldn't take chances and enjoy it as much as I can rather than doing some potentially whacko mod that will ruin the car for years.

Arling has a GT1?! Holy crap. Does Kirby get to drive it too?

I'm definitely in the wrong business myself. Going to open a Grand Auto now.

Collin,
i don't have a GT1. i don't have anything. i sell junk auto parts... i sold good parts to GT4 though. sharky is trying to kill lucent; trying to kill my business. he says he drives a lime green pinto but i see him race with people all the time in a balck turbo with a fake GT2 wing.

sharkster,
i don't know why u're doing this to me but trust me u don't want to fawk wth me cuz my ballz are slightly bigger than urs.

this thread is about my favorite Holloween car so let's not hijack it. leave kirby out of it too since this is between shark & me!

let's make it the drama of the day!

If you only want an extra 60hp, don't go with a GT28RS. That's a 350hp turbo.

Get something smaller that spools faster. GT25R perhaps?
