Removing bumperettes allow for EU lic plate?

I was just curious if removing the bumperettes will allow enough room for an EU lic plate?

Probably not, as the metal brackets for the bumperettes will still be there and taking up space (and looking unattractive). You'd have to get those brackets removed and the square holes filled in and painted for the Euro look space without the bumperettes.
