If you can find a locksmith or dealer (Porsche, Audi, or VW) who can copy your current key, you can save yourself some money by purchasing a key blank. The key blanks are cheap ($20 vs. $130 for the factory cut key).
The remote portion is around $130., I would expect $50-60 for programming (depending on the dealer or indy).

+1--I purchased a remote from Suncoast for $130 and had my indy shop program it for $50. $180 total versus the $550 my Porsche stealer quoted me Originally Posted by suncoastric
