E55 is a great car for the money, I just picked one up a few days ago and I agree its a very nice vehicle.

Depends on what you want out of the vehicle. If you want an involving drive, get the M5. If you want a great cruiser that can flat out fly, I would go for the E55. I do not see the point of a CL55, as it is a large car without much interior room.

I agree, it is an incredible buy, only the Elise and Corvette compete with the value IMO. I also agree with tcm, great car, not very involving. For cruising around town, it's great, but it is no touring car. M5 is a much better buy there.
