Is the GT2 more of a widowmaker than a RWD Turbo?
The 996 generation is the last where Porsche still offered cars without stability control
If you want window maker status, disconnect your front sway bar, run RWD without an LSD, upgrade your rear swaybar and drive on bald tires.
All joking aside, the real Porsche widow makers are the old single turbo cars. The gt2 is only a widow maker to the unskilled driver. And considering the majority of people buying new gt2s when they earned that name where rich stock brokers and such without any driving skills, the name was not really appropriate to what the car really was. Not to say there were not skilled drivers with them, but money doesn't buy skills. And the first two generations of gt2 proved that.

Your second though... I would like to see you chasing my 4 wheel drive turbo s with psm in your gt2 on normal roads in pissing rain. Your wife better make an appointment with a funeral director unless you back off and let me win.
.
If you want a rare car get a GT2 , there is something to be said for the bad boy from the factory.
If you want a track car and don't care about the exclusivity than a turbo is a great place to start for less than half the entry cost.
GT2 is raw - no traction control - no pasm - its all machine and its very very rewarding when you get it right.. When you dont it will bite you very hard very quickly.
You can run out of talent in any car... you will just do it much quicker in a GT2

a gt2 with just a flash and a muffler is not to danger ..but around 600rwhp you came into another world with this 2wd without psm
if you mod a gt2 car in higher stages...be sure you are a very skilled driver

I remember that,it was every where in the news, sorry again SaintGT2
Glad you got another one

My GT2 was making around 800 rwhp at full boost. With regards to driving difficulty, on a scale of 1-10, I'd say it was around a 7. My RWD 996TT at 900 rwhp was around a 4.
